Key Responsibilities :

1. Follow up on unpaid or denied insurance claims with insurance providers.
2. Review claim status and identify reasons for denials, rejections, or delays.
3. Resolve payment issues by coordinating with insurance representatives.
4. Document all interactions and updates accurately in the billing system.
5. Re-submit corrected claims when required.
6. Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
7. Escalate complex claims to the appropriate internal teams.
8. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.

Required Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree is a plus.
2. 1–3 years of experience in medical billing or AR calling (preferred).
3. Knowledge of healthcare insurance processes, claim adjudication, and denial management.
4. Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office.
7. Experience with medical billing software is an advantage.
